Abstract

This article analyzes the problem of investment financing in high inflation economies. It has focused on the availability of investment funds, simultaneously emphasizing its two main aspects, global volume and competition for funds by the public and private sectors; and on the instruments required by a financial system in a context of high inflation rates. Finally, based on the previous approach, some outstanding features of the Argentine reality of the last decade are described and characterized.
